The work comes first
Alec needed a portfolio with the pace and scale of his work as a director and producer. We opened with the reel, followed it with a concise introduction and made the selected productions easy to browse.
The footage gets most of the screen. Alec's name, role and body of work stay clear without competing with it.
Video first, navigation still clear
Full-screen video carries the opening, while restrained type and short transitions keep the navigation obvious. Visitors can move from the reel into Alec's selected work without hunting for the next link.
Context beside the work
Client marks and direct quotes add context around the project grid. The individual productions remain the focus, with a clear route into each project and then to contact.
The same pace on smaller screens
On mobile, the video, spacing and project layouts adjust to the available screen while keeping the same visual pace. Navigation remains usable without shrinking the desktop composition into a narrow column.
